A Message From THE Pastor

"Bethany is often described as warm and friendly. It lives up to its name. It's a place where we truly see each other as family - brothers and sisters in Christ who share the same Heavenly Father. 


Our small size allows us to get to know one another, form friendships, and share life together through the ups and downs as we encourage one another with the Gospel message that "He is Risen!"


Because He lives, we have the certain hope that even death doesn’t get the last word. Jesus has promised that we too will rise—and that promise is for you. His forgiveness has been bought and paid for, and it’s for all.


So come as you are. There’s a place for you here."

Our pastor, Rev. Alex Timm, came in 2023 with his wife Marion and their four kids Caleb (b. 2018), Boaz (b. 2020), Lydia (b. 2021) and Jocelyn (b. 2024).  We are blessed to have them!

Our mission

We believe that Jesus Christ Himself is the door (John 10:9), and that in Him salvation is freely given to all by grace (pure gift apart from works). 

 At Bethany Lutheran Church, our mission is to be devoted to Christ by faithfully proclaiming His Word and administering His Sacraments, through which He comes to us with forgiveness, life, and salvation. 

 As those who have been loved and redeemed, we open our doors and our lives to others, welcoming all who seek the truth found in Jesus. 

 In response to His mercy, we show love and care for our neighbors, serving them in humility and compassion, as we walk in the good works God has prepared beforehand (Ephesians 2:8–10).
