Our Bethany Lutheran family opens wide its doors and bids you a hearty welcome in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is our purpose to encourage and uplift each other in life and prepare souls for eternity by proclaiming Jesus Christ as the only Saviour from sin. We consider it a special privilege to share the rich blessings of God's grace and love in Jesus.
About us
Bethany Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church–Canada. Our congregation is made up of around 100 members. We have a range of age groups in our church family, and love to have new people joining us!
A Message From THE Pastor
Our pastor, Rev. Alex Timm, came in 2023 with his wife Marion and their four kids Caleb (b. 2018), Boaz (b. 2020), Lydia (b. 2021) and Jocelyn (b. 2024).
We are blessed to have them!
"Bethany is often described as warm and friendly. It lives up to its name. It's a place where we truly see each other as family - brothers and sisters in Christ who share the same Heavenly Father.
Our small size allows us to get to know one another, form friendships, and share life together through the ups and downs as we encourage one another with the Gospel message that "He is Risen!"
Because He lives, we have hope that even death doesn’t get the last word. Jesus has promised that we too will rise—and that promise is for you. His forgiveness has been bought and paid for, and it’s for all.
So come as you are. There’s a place for you here."

Our mission
We believe that the door to salvation is always open and so are the doors to our church. Our mission is to be fully devoted to Jesus by opening our arms to those in search of the truth. We show God’s love and concern for our fellow man at every opportunity. Through works of charity and opening our doors to listen and love, we feel that we are walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
